No. 1 on this list? Journalism. Great.

Even more useless? An unfinished journalism degree.

Art History & Art (/photography), both to which I have degrees in and both are listed as one of most useless. This could also explain why I worked at a Comic book store after I graduated. 

If I could go back and do college again, I would go for a Library of Science degree instead. I probably wouldn’t do shit with it, but I’d like to think that they have better career opportunities and more of a variety. 

Well that was the sound of everyone on Tumblr beginning to uncontrollably weep. Seriously, does anyone know any business majors on this site?

Actually, though, I was expecting English (and/or Literature - I have no idea why they’ve been separated here) to be higher on the list so I was kind of pleased. Plus, I’d like to think that living in a big city means that I’ll be closer to where the small amount of newly created English major-centric positions will be, at least.

I feel worse for the poor animal science majors. It’s bad enough you have to stick your hand up cows and stuff, now you’re competing with other people to do it? That sucks.

I think the worst part about this list is that my major isn’t on it but all these have starting salaries OODLES higher than what I’m earning right now.
